Sampling survey to the total area of the forest of Heshun county in Shanxi province in year 2000

 

Implementation steps
  1. Calculate the total optimal sample size n according to the known accuracy requirement
  2. Calculate the sample size nh of each layer h according to the proportion distribution /optimal distribution design of the sample size;
  3. Randomly extract nh samples from layer h respectively with computer pseudo-random number;
  4. According to the sampling sites, estimate the population mean, then multiply 2,697,460, the result is the estimated total area ( unit m2), and estimate the sampling accuracy.

Estimate the mean and variance of each reporting unit according to the mean and variance of each knowledge layer(the reporting units are 10 towns of Heshun county)
