We collected some common problems that you might encounter when operating SSSI, if you can not solve the problem, it might help for you to check here.

1.Does " Having Sampling Data" mean having the sampling plan or not? How to distinguish between them?
“ Having Sampling Design” refers to the plan was created by a new sample site dada after software operation. "having sample site data" refers to without the sampling operation, there was the original sample site data, but without sampling plan. At this time sampling site strata need to choose the already existing sample site layers.

2.In selecting "calculation model" in the course of operation, there are "Input from File" and "Manual Input " two formats, then what is input file format?
Input file must be .Txt format, and also must be one data on one line.

3.In stratified model, "Classify for 0" What does that mean?
Select "to 0 classification," represent black region beyond the border of map of region interesting also involved in classification, not select it for the contrary.
4. What is the purpose of pre-sampling ?
For obtaining population variance
5.Can features be added to the software? Is it possible to rank feature data?
This software is the first version, does not have this function, in the future in the new version will continue to add new functions.
6.For example, using a raster data in order, open database and appear Sample_heshun_ZMGRS_0; Sample_heshun_ZMGRS_1; Sample_heshun_ZMGRS_2, What does it mean to represent?
This is Sample_heshun_ZMGRS raster data of the three-band, the number of bands represent number of images. Remote sensing images used in order includes three-band, so you see the three images
7.Why we should enter variance or cost, and other parameters in stratified model application?
Because we need to enter these parameters to calculate the sample size To calculate because the sample size, the results need to enter these parameters
8.What is the meaning of saving the generated six files?
One is a stratification file, another is a sample site file, and also there is Spj file which is input file. Spj file recorded all the information in our sampling process. dbf and. shx is esri file.
9.Can Raster and vector map be selected together?
No, the cross choice will result in incompatible
10.What is the difference between Stratification feature and sample value feature?
Stratification feature is used to classify stratification on the map of region interesting. General stratification feature is layerID . Sample value feature includes all the feature information in sample site strata.
11.What is the sampling range? When to select the sample range?
If creating a new project file, selecting a sampling range and the map of the region based on area object, then no need to set up sampling range. If object of the map of the region is site , a sampling range should include the object region for sample site (for example, if the sample site is samlingframe.shp, the sampling range is hs_county.shp)
12.What is the reporting units? How to select?
Reporting unit is the special function of “Sandwich sampling model”. When finish the last report in the sampling investigation, user hopes to know some or each unit feature values, for example, user surveys any province population, and wants to gain the population of each county. The reporting units is a kind of range which users expect to know in the final report, for example, the administrative regions.

13.Setting the research area with “Draw”, whether the previous drawing trace can be cleared in the base map when it is redrawed?
It is not cleared in current version, but it will be appended in the next version.

14.Why did creating the data set fail?
Naming the site file doesn’t initiate with the number.
