Sampling stage three

Previous page

We have sample site strata in the first stage and data collected from field investigation or remote sensing image in the second stage, then input or manual input them in the third stage. The third stage is to estimate the overall inference. As the operation flow chart shows, the overall estimate and the inference is divided into the following four steps:

Step 1£º Enter basic information. Start software, users choose existing sampling model, and then input sample site strata which be obtained from the first stage.

Step 2£º parameter settings.
i£º Users need to select samples values and enter the confidence level.
ii£º Input sample data. The sample data can be delivered to the software through a manual input or through file input. The input file must be Txt format, and there must be one data per line.
iii£ºChoose calculation model. Software will default to the sampling model selected in the first stage/step 2/i for statistical inference model. Users can also choose another model for calculations. Similarly, if it is a stratified, spatial stratified or the "sandwich" model, users need to complete the stratification settings. The software provides 3 ways to get the stratification file: 1. Users directly import stratification file; 2. experts draw; 3. Users import the support file through classification to get stratification file. If it is the "sandwich" model, users also need to import the reporting unit. When the stratification file has been completed, the software will deliver the stratification file into the Legend Management, and also will use the file as a sample region.

Step 3£º The calculation results. Software based on input data and the selected statistical inference model calculates sample mean, sample mean variance, and other related value.

Step 4: Results expression The estimated overall results will be expressed in tabular form. At the same time drawing a sample value scatterplot with X-axis for sample site number and Y-axis for sample value, also adding sample mean, significant confidence interval on the scatterplot. The three lines parallel with X-axis, and the software can automatically create the reporting file£º¡°<project file name>_InferenceReport.txt¡±£¬it is easy to query for user.
It is worth noting that if the model has sample site, then there is no need to calculate sample site strata in the first stage. After obtaining the dada from the second stage, enter the third stage of the sampling, refer to operation flow chart (sample with layout ) .
